Offset and wheels

Becouse I got a problem with finding wheels for my Hachy, i found something interesting from T3.

What is your opinion about this. 32 mm thich resolve offset problem.
How this thing effects on bearings and suspension.

It doesn't put more stress on the car. A lot of people say that, but that's just rubbish. What matters is how far the wheels are sticking out the car. Basicly a rim with ET 50 has the same effect as a ET 20 rim with a 30mm spacer.

The disadvantage of a spacer is that it may feel a bit loose/shaky at higher speeds. Beauty of the T3 piece is that you bolt it on both sides so it should be solid. If I can not get good rims then I'm going for these T3 spacers with a 4x100 pattern.

A rim with ET20 and a 30mm spacer will be effectively ET-10.

Spacers are not ideal bevause you are adding rotating weight and putting extra stress on the wheel studs. They will not feel shaky at high speeds provided they are dual hubcentric fitting - ie both the spacer/hub and wheel/spacer interface is dead centred.

Bearings and suspension are affected by how far away the wheel is, yes. This is due to a higher levarage or moment force (Force x distance).

Highly offset wheels with spacers are a waste of time if you ask me - just get the correct offset - it will look better because it will be deeper/more inset and will be a safer bolt-up.
