i'm from australia. Does anyone know where i can find 86's for sale in Australia? I've seen a few on ebay that cost between 6k n 12k. I also know there's a club in Melbourne that's dedicated to these cars but their site is still under construction.

Also, what should i look for in my first 86? thnx for the tips...

hey Dude,

Many many peeps here down under, there is a hefty community. Check out hachiroku.com.au or ae86drivingclub.com.au and you will find many brothers and sisters. Many hang out over here as well.

Hachis do not go cheap in Ozzie land, if I am not mistaken the twincam was never sold here, only the 8valve one, so most have gone through expensive engine upgrades or are imports from the land of the rising sun.
Now and then a bargain pops up on the forums, best though is to get to know the guys, hang out at a few meetings, and hope that a good car passes at one point or another (hasn't happened to me yet in the half year Ive been but had other priorities so far aswell...)
