Rear seat belts

I want to put 3-point seat belts into the back seat of my Trueno, has this ever been done before? Any pictures?

Because I don't think I can register that car for 4 people with the 2-points that are standard. Must have 3-point here in Sweden.. I think at least. Cuz all other cars that got here from other countries has always had to adapt before getting cleared.

I was thinking of bolting the "roller" into the bracket where the interior panels are fitted just above the wheel housing. Plenty of metal there and there's already sort of a premade hole on the interior panel just at that spot that just neads to be opened.


Any thoughts on this?

say what?.. 3-point as in one strap over legs and one strap over chest/shoulder?

afaik, USDM and probably Sweden never got the 3pt rear belts, just the lap belt.

But does anyone have a pic of this 3-point seat belt setup for the rear seats?

I thought ALL Trueno models came with only 2-point seatbelts for the rear seats.

unfortunately i don't have any pics of my interior before i stripped it, but i have a pic of an official german catalog

and i have 2 or 4 (don't know exactly) blue rear seat belts

Cool, do you know somewhat how they were mounted?But you have a coupe right? So wont fit the same for my hatchback I guess..

Might be interested in selling a pair, cuz blue is what I'm looking for?

i also have a hatchback, coupes were never sold here in Austria

one mounting point is on the c-pillar and i guess the other 2 points are the same as on your car

Sounds very interesting, how much would you want for them excluding shipping and do you know how much the shipping to Sweden would cost?
