Poll: How much money have you spent on your Hachi?

I came to think of it, everybody in here seems to be spending a whole lot of money on their cars, some cars are built up from scratch, some cars are bought in an amazing condition.

So, Including the cost of the car when you bought it, how much money have you spent in total on your beloved HachiRoku?

I'm nearing the 5000 euro boundry, but that is including some guess work on the paint job that will happen on saterday and parts I have bought but are not yet on the car.

Ive spend 6500 € the last four years, I included the new rear panels(they are still at the toyota dealer...) - thats not too bad is it? But it still looks like s**t The next ½-1 year that is going to be changes and the amount is going to be doubled

Bought the car for approx. 3100 euro. Then ive spend about 1000 more on making it what it is today... Im counting on using atleast 2000 euro more before its like i want it. And then it will never see winter-roads again. Atleast while its in my hands.

Forgot to say myself. I think i'm somewhere around the 2500-mark. I'm probably still below it, but that will surelly change.

Actually, I stopped counting. But when I stopped, I was at 12000€ not counting those tons of small miscellaneous parts; and then again the car is stll far from running, still not much more than a shell for now, when it will be finished with a squeezed out engine, I think I'll easily get to 20-25K with nothing too fancy...

For that amount of money you probably can persuade Toyota to build a brand new car from spare parts.
