Power Steering Removal
I have pulled my power steering pump and reservoir out of my AE101. Just checking is the car still safe to drive ? I have just plugged the 2 hard line pipes but, read that the rack can seize if fluid runs low ? I had to pull the air con out so didn’t bother replacing the belt for the power steering. New ecu this week so just removed for space for now but would be happy making it permanent if I can safely ?

Power Steering Removal
Remove the plugs and just loop a line from one side to the other. This will allow the fluid to transfer from side to side. The other option is to completely dis-assemble the rack and remove the inner piston seal.
