Question about front fender (want to repair)

Is the selected part of the frontfender in the picture (4dr corolla) the same as a AE86 frontfender?[/u]

Optically the look identical but you never know till you try. But you fender can be fixed If you ask me

Yes it can be fixed but it's a difficult job. A restore company told me a new fender would be cheaper than fixing this old one (Can't find a second hand fender). I thought if that piece is the same, maybe they can remove the old by a second hand piece from a 4d corolla fender

A new fender wouldn't be cheaper...

Cutting, rewelding and shaping the tip of the fender will require the same amount of effort at fixing yours IMO.

TE71Corolla fixed some parts of Mux his old fender with another bad fender. Perhaps he still has some pieces of that leftover.
Otherwise the white wreck might still have a salvagable piece.

Djexor I think I can help you. I live close to you and own an EE80 liftback. Unfortunally, the car doesn't "live" here since it's at my parents place and supposed to stay there. But what I could do is make a cardboard cut out of my fender at my parents place and you pick it up here.

Thanks for the offer. First i'll check the wrecking yard for a visual difference and gonna inform what will be easier.. new tip of fix my old fender. I'll let you know when I need your help !

This was when I didn't know that new fenders for my car where available that cheap and I thought a Corolla Hatchback fender would fit...

I work with a girl who owns a Corolla EE80 liftback, and i have often parked the Hachi next to hers. The fenders may look similar if you see them seperatly, but with the two cars next to each other, they are no way the same. The parkinglights isnt the same, the arches arent alike and the lines doesnt match.
Judging by your picture, you need to cut out a pretty big piece of the fender to get rid of all the rust. I dont think the effort is worth the result.
