R154 gearbox, will it fit with some mods?
I can get a supra R154 gearbox. but does it fits to a 4AGE Blacktop
with some mods. and what do i have to build? (sorry for my bad englisch)

no it won't fit, it's bloody heavy and indesctructible
(the last thing is good  ). It's a Supra box, if you want a better box, get a W58, there are bellhousings for sale (i believe??) to bolt a W to an A series engine. They are still heavy and indestructible though

yep you can get bell houses to w55-58
Some local cars have minor problems whit w58 but those cars have +500hp engine and quite hard use whit "street class" 1/4 mile races. the 3 gear is weak one. You cannot pull hard on slow speed. It will one trye and its old box then. BUT awesome "almost bolt on" box |

Supra MKIII N/A (MA70) (prefacelift) and Celica-Supra (MA61), Celica 2.0XT (RA60) and probably some HiLux's i don't know off

Actually the R154 is not much heavier than a W series...
The issue is the shifting, its like shifting a truck. Just awful. |
