RHD and LHD headlights
cars with RHD headlights, have the steering wheel most of the time at the right side
lights that are fore both.. I think meaning by that, the car was original build LHD and RHD.. so the lights can be exchanged becouse the lights provide a specific light vieuw and RHD en LHD provide the opposit light vieuw of each other.. cheers, Roel |

RHD and LHD headlights
I know all that, what I was asking is that if there is cars with lights that are adjustable to both right and left traffic what models are those.
(If I import a japanese car to Finland I have to change the lights or adjust them so that the car clears MOT) |

RHD and LHD headlights
AFAIK the Levin and Trueno both have either RHD or LHD, not lights suitable for both...

RHD and LHD headlights
Set the car up facing a wall with 90 degrees. If the lights make an arc goiin down towards right, you have LHD, if the lights make an arc to the left, you have a RHD.

RHD and LHD headlights
QUESTION!
So if you have a Trueno and the lights a just those 6 x7 universal sealed beam units, could you just buy either LHD or RHD and swap them from side to side?............... Or upside down would work! Right? |

However the lightbulb only fits one way, so you should change the lightbulb-fitting to fit it upsidedown. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |
