If your steering column is on the left, your car is LHD (left hand drive). Simple. Likewise, if your steering column is on the right, your car is RHD (right hand drive).
The side of the road which you drive on makes zero difference to what type of car you have, because an opposite-drive car can be imported to any country. Hope that helps.
