No dashboard light after retrofitted xenon lights

Hey,

I've installed an xenon conversion kit on my Levin, and that works fine... However the light in the dashboard does not work...

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Does the rear lights work? Its the same fuse...

you need to add a resistor in the wiring loom somewhere, because the resistance of the Xenon at high beam is to low to let the light in your dashboard ligth up.

Only thing is: i haven't got a clue where to add the resistor

I think the Doctor is right but I wouldn't go for adding a resistor, I'd try to seperate the two circuits...

Somehow I think you should avoid using power resistors whenever possible, mainly because I don't find it an "elegant" solution, but also because it will reduce the voltage drop over the head lights and therefore dim them.

I had the same problem here wit the AE101

what also will work, and you will see, if you fit a normal bulb in the spare empty socket.
