Reinforcement for the AE86...

I have seen several different kind of reinforcements for the chassies/body -

please help me with pics of all these different parts.


1: front strut brace / tri-bar (Cusco ?)

2: rear strut brace

3: a kind of front strut tower plate that attaches to the firewall

4: a strutbar-like-thing that attaches between the rear seatbelts
topmounts & down to the rear floor. (bagage compartment)

5: A strut-kinda-thing between the rear bumpers 4 mounting bolts -
on the floor in the rear.

6: floor-bar (as seen om EBAY)

7: lower front "rigidity" bar (?)

8: more ????

UEO style front wing reinforce mounts - mounts between doorhinges & front inner wings.

You gotto make things yourself or get Jap import.

Okuyama is the master at braces. Cusco has the front lower bar. Okuyama the front tri-bar. Cusco has the rear tri-bar I believe.

Ueo has the rear 4-point brace. #4 is also there, but I can't remember the brand.

Aico my man - I´m gonna make them all myself - but i´ll need pictures.. & will make them for everyone that wants them later on - at self-cost.

nice idea but also remember that strengthening the chassis can be done with one machine :-)

for total stengthening - you will need both THAT MACHINE & all the above listed parts.

Tri-bar is when the strut brace are attached behind the engine as well
