And where did that new tank (Made in Canada) come from?

The fuel gauge showed pretty much empty when we started... but it turned out to be around 10 liters left in the tank. Lowering the tank with the car jack makes it easier to lower it carefully. There was quite a lot of grumsy sandy stuff on the bottom of the old tank, so we didnt reuse any of it...

I bought the tank from http://www.autopartswarehouse.com, they have a good selection of spare parts for the AE86.
