Rim Size / Offset Question

Looking at a set of Watanabe RS-8's. Staggared set, 16x8 front +26 offset, and 16x9 rear +25 offset. How will these fit up on an eight-six? Too wide? Wrong offset? Just wondering if there will be any rubbing issues or if a spacer would be needed, if they'd come to the edge of the fenders or what. Thanks.

Your looking at some serious massaging of your fenders to get those to fit..
I'm guessing a stretched lip + a bit of rolling might do the trick, but there arent many 16" equiped hachi's on the road (for good reason, it's just silly).
Probably need spacers too, certainly in the front since wheels that wide with a high offset will probably rub the strut (maybe not if you have coilovers).

Ok, thanks. That's a little more than I'd rather do to get some rims to fit properly. I'll probably just stick with some 15x7 Rewinds. Those have zero offset and 4 inch backspacing, so hopefully I won't have to roll and pull the fenders any with those.

0 offset? I thought the 15"rewinds had a +8 offset or something.. the 14's have 0 offset I think.

All the 15'' Rewinds I've been seeing have a zero offset. I've seen some 15's with plus offset in the same style, but they were made by Rota.
