Ok now I bumped onto something funny. On the right side of the body I found after some sanding another colour.

But you can see the original colour on the type plate right, so what does that say? Maybe it was in an accident at some point and the rear quarter panel was replaced by one from a blue car??? |

didn't take pics yet. But today I regret to have found 4 small spots that needed some welding. Luckily that I found it now before the respray starts.
My dad did some prework for the paint and we still need 2 more saterdays I think before its ready for paint. I will be taking parts of my panda soon: -Hood (it has a dent and the one on the racer hasn't) -wings (FRP got orginial ones for the panda) When the car is resprayed I will take more parts from the panda (panda goes for restoration after the racer is done) -Engine -exhaust -TRD springs When this is happening I will post all pics. Have to get some stuff ready so that we can continu the parts for the racer. When all parts are aquired I will get everything painted and then buildup time. Ok, Car is gonne be blue. Haven't found the color code yet from toyota which I prefer (there where 4 versions from 1983 to 1987)
Did pickup the driver side door. I will post detailed pics later but the door was worse than the passenger side and look at it now! (all steel by the way) The welding is amazing. The guy just recreated both lower panels of the door. I thought Mux had colorcode 879 (Dark Blue Metallic).
