Auch... But you did have a spare door. Is it for the right side of the car? (can't see your pics anymore since imagebucket complains you exceeded bandwidth )

Yes I have spare door just for right side, I bought it because Kristian had remove the door handle. I was lucky that I didn´t have time to change it before.
I upload too many pics to the photobucket in one month, so it takes some time when I can upload more pics to there. This link still works: http://s33.photobucket.com/albums/d61/Kl.../Projekti/ |

Yes I did.
There wasn´t any warning (no smoke, no steam), water temp was OK, also oil pressure. Suddenly car become slow, I press the clutchpedal down, lift up gaspedal and it just died (like you normally stop the engine). We also have a videotape from 600m before it stop, and it sound OK and there is no sign at any problem. Later I check under the hood and notice that upper waterhose was broken, probably all water flew off one time and that is why it didn´t give a any sign. |

New pistons leaves tomorrow from factory, so I will get them on next week.
I send conrods to Special Motors (finnish workshop, where I bought those), they check if I still can use them. Cylinderhead is on another workshop, they clean and check it. On weekend I will disassemble my last spare part AE92 GTi, where I will take a new block. Today we straighten right door, it´s not so bad any more. Still need little work... right side... |

You are absolutely right, there is always a risk when you race.
New engine is coming... There it comes Disassembled, washed and painted and extra oilpipe mounted (as red top blocks) After I get new pistons, I will carry the block to driller (or what that is when you drill cylinderholes bigger...) |
