Nice looking part, but I would prefer a modified stock pulley due to the harmonic balancing for anything that involves high revs.

BUT you have a fake knock off J-Blood Aero parts creatively worded as "Shine Auto Project J-Blood replica body kit " But nice Trueno by the way. The main issue is when you go high revs all the time and then it breaks off!... Happened to Ueos car last year and killed the TOMEI POWERED GENESIS ENGINE. Poor Mr Muto had to rebuild it again. You mean the stock pulley breaks off? The problem associated with the lightweight pulleys that dont have the rubber harmonic balancer is that it causes the crankshaft to snap at sustained high revs.. Maybe old age doesnt do the stock pulleys much good either.

Yes that is exactly right, It could have been a combination of things with that particular crank pulley case but the TOMEI engine has the TOMEI full counter 4AG balanced crank. but having said that there is always a change for harmonics at the extreme RPM range. Ueo loves sitting way up there since he enters corners at extreme speeds.
That crank pulley broke off and then the pistons bent and broke the exhaust valves and snapped the camshaft as well. So complete engine failure. BUT he still came had a podium finish at that D1GP event. Kanagawa Style 86 Now posting as " OnBail " http://www.aeu86.org/profile/ae86/mode/v...ile/u=3517 |
