'Sign up' for the automaxx underground experience
Hey guys,

Okay just making a separate thread here so we dont get this part of the organising mixed up with Kristians attempt to get sponsorred.

As you all know AutoMaxx is organising a twin drift event on the 11th of December in the Geldredome in Arnhem. It starts at 17:00 and ends at 23:00 that day.

Kristian is participating in this event and we though it would be nice to make it an informal AEU86.ORG meeting. Kristians made sure that we get our own stand and we'll have paddock access and such.

But we need to get this thing organised to make sure we have enough tickets and such. Also me and Art are working on some nice things to take home after the event. Hope we can get it all sorted in the short time we have.

So please let us know in this thread if you will be comming. Me and Art will probably be there Saterday a couple of hours before the event starts to hand out the tickets and such and help with organising. Kristian himself is already going to be there on Friday.

We need to know who will be coming, if you're taking someone along with you and if you are comming with AE86 or not. We need to know as soon as possible so we can talk to the automaxx organisation about the space we need for our club and such.

I know some of us have our reservations with AutoMaxx being a bit to fast and a bit to furious but lets turn this into a nice AEU86 get together and show them that many hps and build in getto blasters does not equal having a cool carSmile

I'm coming! If possible I'd like to take a friend (a future AE86-driver!)

Why motorsports? Because other sports require only one ball!

Ummm...

would be really cool to come to this but I don't think I'll have the time.

I visit amsterdam at least once a year and I think I am due a trip Tongue
I usually just fly over and train straight into dam square station from schiphol airport, dump our stuff in the hotel and go straight to abraxis LOL.

How long do you think it would take to get to the venue from the ferry point ?

Regards

Ian.

Just come mate! If you fly in we can pick you up from the airport, couple of us live near there soSmile

Hmmm...

looks like it would be Rotterdam.

Just looked at the costs and its £370 round trip by ferry. I am 20 mins from east midlands airport (and donington park race track) and a flight is about £42 each way which is much cheaper.

I will have a think...would still be good but it unfortunately won't be a hachi road trip for me Sad

Regards Ian.

As you know I really want to come! There are however a few problems:

Will my AE86 make it? (YES - Im a beliver Smile )
Does any of you guys live near by? A shower might be needed after 750 km... Dumb question

And a suggestion: Why not meet around 12 - gives us more time to talk Smile

Sarcasme is just one of the things I offer Wink
