'spotted' by a member from the dutch Corollaclub.

Somewhere around Spa-Franchorchamps, there's a F1 museum, and this AE86 is the first thing you see when you enter the building Smile

If you search for scale models of the ae86 you will find a very large variaty of ae86 cars which have driven Spa Francorchamps (only coupe) so I guess there used to be a cup, just like here in Holland. Smile

1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project
2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver
2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain

No, there has not been a dutch AE86 challenge! There was a Corolla Cup in the 80's, with the TE71 (?). Later on that cup was replaced with a Starlet Cup (the first FWD type). There were some race86's on Zandvoort: As far as I know Mike vd Raadt used to race on in the dutch touringcar championship and later on he sold that car to Rob Nobels. That's the red/white/blue car you saw in the ad posted somewhere else on this forum.

Why motorsports? Because other sports require only one ball!
