Small question about wheels
I know this is a AE86 forum, but i have a question about wheels:
I found some cool used rims with the sizes: 14x6J-114.3. Now, what if 'my car' (Toyota MR2 AW11 NA) has 4x100 bolt pattern instead of 4x114.3 which is stated above. Does these rims fit 'my car'? I have no experience with enginering cars, but what do you need to do so they can fit, or is it impossible?? The AE86 has 4x114 so that's no problem. Oh, and i read something about adapters. Don't know what it is. -Vortrex Quote:“The One With The Stronger Heart, Always Wins The Battle!!!”Let's Go Out of Here..... Together..... “1988 Toyota MR2 AW11, My Go-Kart AE86!” |

Small question about wheels
They won't fit.
They can be made to fit, but for 14x6 you would be mad to do so. There are TONS of nice 4x100s for sale in NL. A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |

Small question about wheels
These are adapters...
http://prowheeladapters.com/4x100-to-4x4...apter.html You just need to do some measuring to make sure that your wheels will fit without the tyres rubbing if you use adapters (also known as bolt-on wheel spacers). Check your local legislation to make sure they are legal (if you care) before buying. Some countries require the spacers to be hub-centric and stipulate the maximum thickness allowed. You also need to check if there are recesses in the back of your wheels between the bolt holes. If you use 25mm thick spacers and your existing wheel studs are 30mm long, the extra has to have somewhere to go !! Cheers... jondee86 |

Vortrex Wrote:Okay, thanks for your answers! Auction Yahoo http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/ Then use a shopping service like Celga or something. Tho for wheels i think that shipping is gonna be pretty expensive.
