Trust me once you get HTS on your car you will never want to drive on anything else

i have built 4 or 5 cars for myself
if the car does not have HTS its no fun IMHO

Probably because they are the only shocks that were made and valved for the AE86..all the other solutions are mostly terrible..but most people have never driven a properly setup car, so they are adamant that their ride is performing adequately.
Now consider that HTS's are a dual tube steel setup that is really a budget/entry level solution and you start to realise just how much better things can get.

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear

Hi man! Amazing shocks. Can you please tell me, where did you buy them and how much totally did you spend on them? (incl. shipping).

Onyx,

I bought em from Max who started this thread. A full set is 550 USD which would be roughly 450 euro's (we ended up paying 470 euro's for a set because paypal added some fees for the exchange from euro to Dollars, transfering through your bank may be cheaper IF and only IF you specify all information absolutely CORRECTLY because they give a more favorable exchange rate and less costs, but get one bit of info wrong and they charge you alot of money for correcting, Paypal is safer).

We ordered a couple of sets but one set was send in a separate box, the shipping on that one was 115 dollars, note that shipping prices do vary from time to time and this is shipping to Holland so check with Max for up to date shipping info, and you'll probably pay 20 or so dollars for insurance. Take about 100 euro's into account for shipping.

Tax is still a bit of an unknown, we paid to much we think so I've send a letter to the tax department with my calculations of what I think we should have paid and I'm awaiting their responce. I'm expecting to pay 80 euro's worth of tax per set (4% import tax + 19% VAT over 470 euros).

Total for a set should thus be roughly 650 euro's.

Haven't put them on the car but compared to my koni's my first impression is these shocks are WAY stiffer with a much wider range of settings. Definately impressed with their possibilities, can't wait to actually see what they can do on the car. Definately worth the money.
