Sorry for showing off LOL
Ahh I see lol.
Im going to have to get a custom hilux diff made up to handle the engine, so will be getting them to shorten the diff down at the same time...so that the wheels will sit just outside the guards by about 5-10mm |

This may sound like heresy from a fellow dish lover, but why didn't you order wider wheels with a less negative offset?
Like 9JJ -16 (107mm lip) and 10JJ -18 (133mm lip) which would still give the same dish and outer edge position? RokuSteady : Shakotan - Tsuraichi - Hippari - Onikyan : 神奈川 様式 |

Will be interesting to see how these fit inside the inner arches of the 86. The shock mounting points are already placed pretty far outboard. Not much scope for narrowing the axle outside of em without reducing shock motion ratio's. If all else fails you can still slap on some arches and look awesome, but maybe a good thing to check before shortening the axle.
Can you take a pic of the clearance between these badboys and the shock/spring? I'm planning to run 15x9 rears too, but want them to be as far inboard as possible...go figure A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |

Yea, we had a look at that, will be close, but should be able to clear the inside by about 5-10mm.
Yea will take a pic if it ever stops raining here so I can open up the garage to get into the back of the car lol. |

Are you sure it's 15x9 off -66. According to Work the lowest offset is -41

you could be right DJexor... I've made some calculations, 9" width and 133mm of dish equals to about -18, which would also explain why they don't stick out the amount you expected! 5cm less poke then at -66!
Still awesome though! "It's all about the heart, the people who focus on parts, turbo's and all that stuff...they're just losers." -Shinji Minowa |
