Stitch weld? how's the improvement
Hey Guys,

For those who did the stitch weld to reinforce the 86's 20 years old chasis,
can you tell me what is the different after stitching.

I know this question seems silly, one may say "of course there is a different" and depends on how much stitch weld you want to do.

As soon I will start my project, just want to hear some advise and feedback from you guys regarding stitch weld.
My project will be building a daily duty hachi and may be sometime a saturday night racer.

Thanks for sharing your comment! Smile

serqiocharged, thanks for your opinion.

However, I am thinking to do it inside the engine bay, front and rear strut mount and may be some in the main member on the chasis, just some.

Cause everytime I go over a bump or making a corner, I can feel the chasis twist and making terrible noise.

For sure will do it some day Thumbs up!

okay man!
here's the reality - there are no real articles or something written on body reinforcing.
so come go watch Best Motoring AE86 Special Vol.7 (can be found on youtube), other Video Options on body reinforcing, then find some pro rally guys and ask them how to.
Might help Wave

properly built reinforced chassis will kick ass and seem like the car is more powerful Hurray!
