Stock ride height
So if anybody´s out there rollin on stock suspension setup - i need help. I´m planning to lower my hachi during the winter break but i don´t have any clue about how much lower my hachi is right now.
So i want to know the lenght between the wheel arches (front and rear) and the center of the hub. Anybody can help? Uploaded with ImageShack.us AE86 Full Hybrid - Burns rubber and gasoline |

Yeah this would help me too. Let´s say from the under edge of the headlight to the ground. Even from the underside of the mirror to the ground should work...

Hm, i should take a look in the manual before asking Sorry guy´s and thanks for the effort. But i have to add about 1 centimeter cause 185/60 x 14 is only 57.8 cm in diameter compared to a 185/70 x 13 with 58.9 cm... right?

yes your 14" wheels are ~11.5mm smaller than the 13" so add 11.5mm to what you measure for comparison with the manual.

So after adding its about 18cm - so it´s dropped about 5cm / 2inch. But unfortunately it looks like there aren´t shorter springs available...

you sure you haven't miss measured - I have the APEX springs (~30mm lower) and my rideheight looks similar to yours in the top pic.

Measured again, as i said... 18cm. I cant tell the brand of the springs and shocks cause it´s all burried under a thick layer of underbody protection ( is it called like this ) Only thing i can say is that the springs seem to be red and the dampers are yellow.
Springs use to settle a bit after a certain time... maybe your´s did. Are the 30mm measured or is it the value promised by APEX? AE86 Full Hybrid - Burns rubber and gasoline |
