Strut nut tool

Hey guys im after the tool that takes off the nut on top of the strut casing. This allows the dampers to be taken out.
I want to know what that tool is called and where could i get it.
Also if other ppl have different methods in taking the nut off i will be pleased to know

I used a really large wrench .....

cool do u know the size of the nut ?

Clamp the nut in a bench vise, and then rotate the strut. A vise is
like a large adjusting spanner... one vise fits every size of nut

hehe i tried that before and it kinda deformed the nut quite bad

if you order agx dampers youll get a new nut with them.
T3 is selling new nuts too

I bought SW20 AGX dampers for my AE86 and found out that the nuts that came with them used a different thread and didn't fit on top of the AE86 struts.

Maybe the AE92 ones come with nuts that have the correct thread for AE86?

For the SW20 AGX inserts I used the OEM strut top nuts and had some
material removed from the inside in a lathe. Otherwise, you could try and
get some nuts from your Koni dealer.
