What Battery for 1985 ae86 jap import
Hi Guys, New here. Just recently bought an 86 after learning to drift in a volvo 340 with a welded diff. I thought the next sensible car to move up the ladder on was a levin so when one came up at a reasonable price i couldnt help myself!
anyway i got the car at a good price but i does need work which im willing to carry out. Since its been in the uk since 04 its not had a battery change so when i came to it this morning to find out which one it was its all in bloody japanese! its the 16valver 1985 was year of production, running pretty standard on electrics only minus the aircon! help would be much appreciated thanks Josh |

What Battery for 1985 ae86 jap import
Take measurements of the battery size and it's pole diameter, then go get yourself any 12v battery that fit's the bill at a car parts store. (or just take the old one along).

Return the old one, an buy a new one, with the smal 1.6l engine and no unusefull electric stuff a 45A-50A one should be fine.
