HELP ME!!start problem
my car dont start.i have a 16v bluetop 4age.i have fuel and spark.i check everything.but....listen sth very strange.the distributor have 3 wires.when i cut the red wire my car start and rev but not very well.when the red wire is connected, my car is dead.what is going on?

Have you double checked the ignition timing?

Has the engine run before, or did you just build or install it?

the engine run before excelent.these happened one day when i go to my job.i dont understand why it will start with the 2wires and why not with the 3?the distributor have 2 magnetic sensor i think.one for ignition and one for rpm.the red wire is one of them.why my car start with only one sensor?

Hmm...cant think of anything yet..
Does anyone know what the red wire is for? The wiring diagrams are way to fuzzy on this subject.
