Thinking of selling my AE86
Hello AE86 fans,
I'm thinking to sell my AE86 because I hardly have time to drive it. The car is from 1987 and has aprox 85.000km on the clock. I bought the car last year from the first owner and it has a full service with all the receipts included. The car has two bad spots, the left front fender and the passenger door. I live in Holland. Why keep the car? And if I sell my car wat is a acceptable price? Michel Daily driver: Seat Leon Cupra V6 Summercar: E30 M3 Cecotto Projectcar: AE86 |

Thinking of selling my AE86
Michel,
Its just been winter time dude, its getting summer time, summer times means much more events will take place where you can have fun with the Hachi. Strangest is that the way you now describe how you feel about the hachi is exactly how I feel about the DeLorean, I hardly drive her, I hardly have time to fix the things that need to be fixed, but still I can't bring myself to sell her. I want to sell her, then I need to drive her one time, and I no longer can, then I dont drive her for awhile and I ask myself why I keep her. I drive my hachi daily so the experience there is much different, I get to work with a big smile on my face, the sound of the hachi, the way it drives, its the greatest thing even on the booring trip I take to work every day. As for a price for you car, hard to say, you did a number of upgrades right? I know you got bushings fixed, what are you running for shocks and springs at the moment? 85k on the odo definately is little for a hachi these days which is a big plus and if I remember correctly your car looked pretty damn good last time I saw it. My initial guess would be 3k euros? But I'm no expert in hachi prices so I may be much to low or much to high Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

@Bastiaan,
I did put new bushings from the groupbuy under the car, new shocks (kayaba) rebuild the front brakes, with the Toyota rebuild kit. @awex, Make me a offer. Michel Daily driver: Seat Leon Cupra V6 Summercar: E30 M3 Cecotto Projectcar: AE86 |
