Hi,
Unfortunately it seems that I have purchased some Toda cams on eBay which have heat damage. They had surface rust which I got off, but then left these marks. The cam seal end looks fucked but there is no cuts into the material. It's all smooth. Do they say "Toda" on them??? usually on either the end, and/or on one of the wrench flat.

Yeah they do say Toda on the top.
I'm not going to use them, already decided. Now I've sold my existing cams in my current engine, so have no cams for new engine
|

Any engine shop will polish them up, whats the specs? You want to sell them?

264 in, 264 ex, 7.9mm lift.

They are not 7.9mm, the end of the cam says 9.0 which i assume is 9mm.
Too high for me anyway, so mis-sold in terms of lift. |

I've measured them and they are 9.0mm lift.
Had them checked out by an engineer rebuilding company and have been advised that I have them polished. Going back on eBay with the reserve at what I paid for them. Will post the link up here later. They are these http://realstreetperformance.com/Product...nterc.html |
