Too many choices....Rebuild project UPDATE 17-08-05
Ok, used 8 hours today on preparing the car for paint. Turns out that we couldnt fit the rear hatch, and spent better part of an hour to try and adjust. We then did a shitload of measuring, and it turned the roof has been damaged during the roll-over. Actually it was the "beams" that were out of shape, so after a couple of hours of fun in the sun trying to bend everything back into shape, i would say that we are in the clear. Everything fits perfectly now and the roof looks to be where it´s supposed to be, and the cross measurements confirm that impression.
Have a look at the pictures to see how we managed to succed with different tools and some lively imagination. My evil Red/Black Panda http://www.bilgalleri.dk/html/gal_visbil.asp?ID=12832 My current JDM AE86 project http://www.bilgalleri.dk/html/gal_visbil.asp?ID=31609 |

Nice work! I agree, go for a cage when you already have the car so cleared!

Nice work !!!
time to get a fire extinguisher and chissel out and take all the sound deadening material off the floor and loose some weight. Totally agree with everyone - it would be rude not to stick a full cage in there - I take it that you indend it to be a stripped out monster. Have you decided on a colour yet ? Regards Ian. |

Hi @dodo@
Some of the guys in the uk have blasted it with a fire extinguisher and that seems to make it a bit easier to get off. I'm waiting for a volenteer to do mine  Regards Ian. |
