Toyota COPs tach signal
The 1ZZFE coils I am using have a tach output but what kind of signal do they put out? I tried using a oscilloscope connected to ground but I got no signal. I did not try with the scope connected to 12 V or by using a pull up resistor and this will be next if I can't find a certain answer.

Toyota COPs tach signal
It's not a tach output but a feedback (confirmation) signal.
Far as I know, it's a 5V square wave signal, like in most Toyota. |

Toyota COPs tach signal
You are right it is a feed back to the ECU but I would like to use it as a tach signal But I don't get at 5 V signal.
