Tracking Setting
RALLYMAN1984 Wrote:Hi,The official setting can be got from anywhere that does tracking. However I set mine parallel and adjusted it from there. I now have just about 1mm toe in. This equates to one eight of a turn each side from parallel. You can go anywhere from 2mm toe in or out, really depends how you want it to handle. I can tell you that it makes a lot of difference I would have it set parallel professionally and then mark the trackrod ends on the thread with some tippex, you can then return to that datum if required. Tracking Setting
Sorted !!
Tracked it up today (we have dunlop tracking gauges) and it's driving much better. Very slightly toe out. Straightened up the steering wheel a treat too ! All i need to do now is find a front spoiler for the beast. (STD facelift one) |
