Trd 0.8 head gasket
I have been thinking lately to add a trd 0.8 gasket in my stock 16v bluetop motor targeting on a small power gain and i'm wondering, does the gasket make a noticeable difference over stock in terms of power? Also do i need to increase the fuel or the engine will compensate fine with the increased cr?
All suggestions are welcomed ALWAYS SIDEWAYS!!!!! |

Trd 0.8 head gasket
OEM gasket is 1.2mm, the .08mm gasket will bump compression approximately 4/10s of a point. cat equipped engines will go from 9.4 to 9.8, non cat engines will go from 10.0 to 10.4.
You MAY want to get adjustable camshaft pulleys to adjust the camshafts to compensate for the thinner gasket. You likely will not need more fuel, you may need higher octane fuel to minimize ping (pre-ignition) Dan - You can | .... OR you can ask for help!!!
