Trim levels on Japanese cars
I have been searching alot for the differences between GTV and GT-Apex trim levels for japanese cars but it seems very hard to find any accurate information, most people are just talking hearsay or uncofirmed things.

So does anyone have a complete or almost complete lists on whats included/optional on GTV and GT-Apex trim levels for all the years?

something similar to this: http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/drifti...ation.html

I don't think we do have an accurate list of that...
I only know for sure that the GTV features the Q-spec indication on the firewall, and the GT-Apex features the V-spec indication on the firewall. This means the following:
Q: The highest grade (ultimate in luxury or performance)
V: Luxury sports

In this case the GTV is ultimate in performance while the GT-Apex is more luxurious. If you look at the Kouki interior you see that the GT-Apex trim is more luxurious and the GTV is more spartan. Also the GT-Apex got most accessories standard (panda paint, nicer rims, redlines) and the available extra options for the GT-Apex were powersteering, powerwindows, powermirrors and digidash.

I have owned both of these cars and the Gt is the same spec as a GT-Apex jdm , sometimes with a sun roof , some have power steer, full interior, the rear interior quarter panel cards are different, some have a digital dash, some have electric mirrors and air conditioning . Here is a pic of it

The GTV has no air con , less interior trim, it does use the shorter power steer arms (not a quick rack as some think) has a LSD from the factory, no body kit no adjustable wiper intermitant wipe, no adjustable dash light control, thats all I can think of at the moment

I will pick my brains and see what other things are different.
The redline lights and wheels, paint jobs are specific to the year of manufacture and not the model as can be seen in one of my other cars that is 1987 model

Hope this is of some help
