VEMS V3 Users feedback...
Uzelac Wrote:Jondee86 bought VEMS at the end ? I ended up buying an Adaptronic e420c designed and built in Australia. When I looked at the price for the fully assembled VEMs with sensors and loom, and the price for a basic Link ECU made in New Zealand, the Adaptronic had better features and a lower cost. I have had it installed and running for a couple of years now, and I am very happy with the performance. It takes a direct digital input from my LC-1 wideband, has an auto-tune function for fuel mapping, VE tuning, and enough choices to keep me happy. I could easily implement control for a 20V ISCV on my 16V, wasted spark with coil packs, sequential injection etc. Have to say I was not interested in DIY ECU's like Megasquirt or VEMs, so when I looked at prices it was to buy a factory assembled ECU and loom, so that pushed the price up. In Europe the choice might be different, as for you, Australia is on the other side of the world. For me it is next door Cheers... jondee86 |

Nice
Went to Adaptronics website, good features and prices. Someone should really make table with all those standalones and their features for easy side-by-side comparison. Should make life easier, there are so many different options nowadays . |
