Vacations
No vacation for me. Went to help my brother with some work around the house last week. Just got home and today I will pick up my GF. She's coming back from her vacation.

She's been to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

...I know, I asked her the same question Confused

Vacations
I spent 5 days on a Greek island at the end of July....My vacations seem far away back. These days i'm "deep down and dirty"

My vacations didn't turn out preety good as well. There was a lot of wind blowing all the days i was in the island. Approximately 8 beauforts....It was difficult to find a beach to swim without having to fight the waves. I got a free sandblast to my body also.... Tongue. I thought it was a good place to sandblast my rusty hachi Blush

Few days after my return Back from vacation i lost my beloved uncle suffering from cancer the last 6-8 months....

That's all folks.

Vacations
A year ago, at 28th of July, two days before I go for vacations we are informed that we wont be aid our salaries in August cause times are rought and that we ll eventually get the money with some delay.

Few months later, around November we are told the company will be sold to a new investor, but till then we wont get paid at all...

5 months later, in May, after several "investors" backing off from the deal, I quit my job, in order to take only what they owe me and to be paid the 40 days of vacations I have left...

http://www.velocity.gr is not yet on track, bussiness is unequable and money dont come in a steady monthly bases. From 1st of July I m practically UNinsured... I m waiting for September to come so I see how my current jobs go, and decide if I ll keep on trying being a journalist or forget the last 6 years of my life (and the previous 4 I needed to get my master as a graphic designer) and become something else, like a waiter, in order to make a living.

My girlfriends mother, at age of 66, has for the last 4 years a serious neurological illness which cannot be cured. My gf's job in a huge advertizing company pays well but it stopped being fun for the last year or so.

In the middle of July she gets a cold, fluids go in her lungs and there she is out of the blue in intensive care. Few days later she is out with "not much life left", still we are going to the so much needed to both me and my gf vacations. 5 days later we re back cause her mother heart stopped and shes back in intensive care.

Well now she has like 10 days left and we re just waiting, I dont even want or have time to think about job issues or anything else.

Anybody willing to make a drama TV series out of these story? Wave

Damn! That's tough! Huh
Well, Japanese are fond of drama so why not go to Japan. Sell your story to a Japanese TV station and pickup your job as a car journalist there?

I meant something like: try to make most of it. So indeed "Th!nk positive" would be a great description of that. Wink

Everytime im gone for a couple of weeks, theres a new dorama on board. Tough times there buddy. But you seem capable enough and such experiences will only spice up your "Defender of the cosmos" problem-sloving repertoir.

So i'll be cheap and knock off a hiphop artist when i say: It matters not how many times you've fallen, but how many times you rise. Yet i cannot possibly say it better. Or in japanese: Keep attack! Thumbs up!
