WTF is that? speedodrive sender adaptor thingy....
Hi,
recently took this of an import AE86, was fitted between the speedo output on the gearbox and the speedo cable going to the dash. Unfortunatly no partnumber or anything on it, the wires are in Toyota colours (black red dots, green red dots, red) but the plug doesnt look like anything I´ve seen on a toyota before. Its not a converter, 1 turn on the input causes 1 on the output. What could it be? The car was a late GT APEX so I asume it might have had a digidash, but the digital speedsensors on google look different. Any ideas? 1979 Toyota Corolla KE35 1983 Toyota Corolla AE86 1985 Toyota Corolla AE86 |

I think it's a a digital send sensor.
It give you the ability to have a digital signal and keeping the cable for the dash. (Useful for people who want to hook up correctly a 20v ecu for exemple ) |

Looks like a Terratrip sensor to connect rally - tripmaster.
I used one also in between the speedo cable before (different type but similar layout) Now I use speedsensor on the front wheel. |

Certainly a mix between:
Terratrip speed probe: and Toyota sensor: Anyway it must be used to get a digital speed signal (aftermarket dash, tripmaster, ECU...) |

fax still have that part? I need it!
It is a Speed sensor splitter! It gives the digital dash a mechanical speed sensor analog output and also gives the ecu the digital output! Regards Regards |

It is a sensor for a tripmeter, hall effect I think. Here are some details and they can be bought new from Brantz. I use one for a Brantz tripmeter and the hole for the speedo cable in the crossmember needs to be made larger.
