Wanted: 3-rib engine repair manual

Does anyone happen to have a 4age engine repair manual PDF for the early 3-rib block? All I can find online are the 87 and later manuals that only refer to the 42mm crank and floating pistons.
I believe it should be covered in the 1983 manual for all A-series blocks, which I cant find anywhere.

I also only have the manual dated 1987 in PDF form. I'm not sure which paper version I have in the shurgard, but if it's an earlier version you can borrow it. I'll check next time I'm there.

The Doctor just messaged me, he has the actual 1983 FSM I'm looking for, only paperback, not PDF.
I'll try to scan it if it's not too much hassle at work

If it's relevant to the 40mm crank and perhaps the piston pin replacement procedure, that would be much appreciated Dan.

As far as the wrist pin.... it says use SST. Typically a 1st gen 4AGE requires a rod heater to properly fit the wrist pin.


As far as 40mm crank info:
Main journal diameter: 47.985mm - 48.000mm(1.8892" - 1.8898")
Rod Journal diameter: 39.985mm - 40.000mm(1.5742" = 1.5748")
Maximum runout: .06mm(.0024")
Maximum taper/out of round: .02mm(.0008")


Main journal clearance: .012mm - .039mm(.0005".0015") Limit .10mm(.0039")
Rod journal clearance: 0.020mm - 0.051mm (.0008" - .0020"). limit .08mm(.0031")
Thrust clearance: .02mm - .22mm(.0008" - .0087") limit .30mm(.0118")
