Welding chassis (firewall to rail) should car be on stands?
Hey guyz, new to this forum but am a member of club4ac.com. Anyways im preparing my ae86 for a biuld up and just wanted to weld the firewall to chassis rail joins as the left side has come away abit. The sticky weld stuff that comes from the factory has dried up and cracked.
I have been reading about welding chassis and have heard conflicting info about whether the car should be weighted(on ground) or on stands or even in a chassis jig. Just wondering of anyones had any experience with chassis welding and can help me. Cheers |
