What is this plug?

Hi, long time reader first time poster, haha.

I'm at the tail end of my 4age conversion and i was wondering if anyone could tell me what this plug is and where it's supposed to be wired in to.


Ihave more pics coming as well.

It's an'83 sprinter with a bigport 4age, the loom is from an AE82 twincam.

Also, while i'm here, where is the best place to get the power for my COR for the fuel pump? is there a wire in there i can splice into

Dunno what that relay is for (CMH relay according to the book, havent seen it on any euro ae86's before), but I would guess the connector should be going to the junction box. Look up the USDM wiring manual using the search (look for 'manual' and 'parrot', who is the guy that was friendly enough to post it). It contains routing pictures for all wiring looms, and has descriptions of every connector in the car.

Yeah i've looked at that, it's been my best friend all through this. but i can't see that plug the pictures.
If i knew what it was i could probably find it in the wiring diagram.

You won't find it in the books as the loom from an AE82 is quite different from an AE86. Your best bet would be to ask your question on AE86drivingclub.com. I am guessing your are from Australia?

Lots of guys on there are using converted AE82 looms.

The voltage regulator you don't need if you are using the internally regulated bigport alternator.
