What spring on KE70 ?
Hi.
I cannot find the right answer to my request :
Do the lowering springs of the AE86 fits the KE70 ?

Sometimes it is yes sometimes no Banging head
What brand do you have on yours and how lowered you are ? I should be on 15" (as i cannot find 14" not expensive).

Thank you

What spring on KE70 ?
The bolt pattern on the top of the strut tower is different on the earlier(older) models then the newer models, and the AE86. And I believe the top part of the upper strut mount is shaped differently so the AE86 type strut top doesn't fit into the earlier xE7x type strut sheetmetal

The way I'd overcome this obstacle would be to acquire the upper strut tower sheet metal from an AE86. Remove JUST enough of the KE7x strut sheetmetal to allow the AE86 sheetmetal to be welded into place.

It would be possible to make this upper sheetmetal yourself if you were to have a few photos... and an AE86 strut topper to use as a gauge

He is referring to the topmount yes.
i had this problem too since my ke70 is an early one.

ae86 topmount, ke70 struthousing, just drill an extra hole and fill the other hole again.
or, drill an extra hole in the camberplate and put a bolt and nut through that.

I really wouldnot know what front springs you can use.
i tried to find lowering springs for the earlier models corolla, but i didn't find anything.
My front springs were cut off, but thats not the right way..

springs and shocks can be separated. if you were to find ae86 front shocks, you can install them on your ke70, you just need to drill an extra hole as shown in the picture, you can use ae86 lowering springs if you do that.
