What to spend my money on.
Hey folks.
I will potentially have £4200 to spend on my Hachi. £2200 of that is going towards a Haltech ECU, digi dash and a full rewire. That leaves £2k to have the car painted/plasti dipped/wrapped. Refresh the suspension/brakes. Car has been off the road for 6 years. What would you do. Sent from the Crack of my Bum. Sent from the Crack of my Bum. It is going to be a slighy tuned 16v for now.
But I am going to turbo it in a year. So fitting it now when the full rewire is being done. No point having wiring done now, and having it redone when I turbo it. Body has to be done. No choice. Just had a lot of welding done. Car currently has TRD coilovers on front. And TRD blues on year. But with sitting so long I don't think they will be usable. Sent from the Crack of my Bum. Considering you got almost everything covered already check first if the current suspension is still in order and get the car running as is. Once you done a few track days it'll be easier to tell what potential weaknesses need to be remedied.

I'm thinking after 6 years suspension and brakes will likely need replaced.
Car is at a good spec. Just with having not ran for so long. Full service on engine. All new fluids. New discs and pads. Take all suspension off and see if it can be saved. Sent from the Crack of my Bum. DRIFTING is pushin a car against its intended design, then playing with the LAWS OF PHYSICS |

Why do you think 6 years is too long ?
Give it a try before yuu go for new springs. Shocks should be 100%, they don't mind sitting as springs do. |
