Whats the biggest cams for the 4AG?

Hmmz i had a talk with bill then in the car i asked him if the engine and ecu would take the following setup

81.5 bore
272 cams in en ex
portet head
adjustable cam pullies

he sayd i should be able to pull it of on standard ecu and making around 150-160 hp in the engine.

so that would be a nice 130 on the wheels with luck

and what about difference between intake and exaust cams duration .JonT
you've a set with both I and E 264°, but as there's a lot of choice
as the intake and exaust cams are separated. What's the best .
I 'd like to change cams , but keeping stock ecu , and fitting 250cc injector.
I don't expect to have a lot of hp , as I'm realist .

I actually have a 256, 264 combination with 8.1 lift. I'm not really an engine expertr and there is a degree of following the crowd with these. A few of the Japanese tuning mags seem to recommend this combination plus i was speaking to a few people and was told it worked well. As for setting them up, i'll need to find out myself when the time comes.

NoHachi is right. But:
1. You can try wild cams and/or ITB with VAC buffer (a little box buffering the vacuum).
2. You can tweak MAP signal (dont exactly need to buy HKS, Blitz or Apex'i stuff).
3. You can try coolant sensor tweak. There is a little funny mod (especially for ITBs) - the coolant sensor is tweaked only when ECU sends TVIS signal.
4. You can try adjustable FPR. Of even better - raising rate FPR.
5. You can upgrade injectors (as filh mentioned).

alimonos, I'm not a tunning guru - just try this or that in order to make things to work. There is no 100% solution (except aftermarket ECU) - I think.
In fact I prefer to be mechanic instead of driver - this is somewhat freak :-)
