Wheels, dimensions, offset and so on
Quote:Where do you live btw? Cause you should check the junkyards for old Nissan, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Toyota rims, you might be able to find some with the needed parameters.

I live in Narvik, in the northern Norway.

I'll have a look around now that I have all the numbers down :-)

Seems it's impossible to find any 14" rims in norway with an offsett lower than +35.

I tried a set with +35 offset and it's like 0.5 mm from the spring so I don't think those will be such a good idea.

So now I'm gonna order some 32 mm spacers from TechnoToyTuning, and that should clear things up Smile

Man it's no fun not being able drive my hachi now that the ground is covered with snow and ice.

I just hope it won't take too long to get the spacers shipped from the U.S.

You can get cheap 8mm spacers easily using old worn brake dics with 4X114mm pattern (for example - rear AE86 discs) and some lathe cutting work. T3 also sells cheap thin spacers.

Oh flarn... I just checked the date of my first post in this thread. It has already been over a month since my car was grounded... Unbelivable Smile

And still I haven't been able to come up with a solution.

I tried mailing TechnoToyTuning about spacers, but he don't seem to be responding ATM.

Found some on Ebay, but they seemed a bit expensive.

Never thought that it would be such a problem finding a couple of rims that would fit.

Can't you let a local mechanist make the spacers for you?

And btw you can make yourself spacers from old brake discs, cutting their middle. I can't make it without the proper tools but you might can or can find someone who make this for you.

That'll be much more expensive. Prolly gonna take about 4 hours to make on a milling machine and that would run about $500. Well, that's what they told me at least.
