2ZZ, 3SG, EJ... All are better options than the NZ engine in my opinion. If the car is given an engine with good potential, the aftermarket support would have a field day!

Didn't I read somewhere that Toyota en Subaru were develloping a sportscar for young people? And that is was to be powered by a scoobie boxer-engine?
I still think a 1.3 is more likely. Emissions profile of the whole range etc etc A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |

On club4ag a guy mentioned that HE heard from a dealer that the car is going to be powered by a Yaris engine..,
