Wishbone/control arm
I am looking for the ball joint for the lower control arm for ae86. The local dealer doesn't sell it, only the hole control arm with the ball joint
A part number and some companies that make them would be good Thanks AE86 Levin 2. door 1987-In restoration AE86 Levin 2. door 1984-In parts |

I heard you have to burn out the old one with a torch to install a new one.

no, they are held in by a circlip from above, and u can actually hit them out (downwards) with a copper hammer, they arent such an interference that they require pressing in or out, usually.

Usually people use a torch to burn them out and replace the ball joint. Other than that you have to buy the whole control arm assembly from the dealer.
