XTR competition chassies
i wish you werent so far away...new rules for my class means i can run fibreglass bonnet/gaurds....im very interested in them...just i dont trust any fright company to get them to the world without ruining FRP Sad

is the 86 factory closed in nz? their homepage is down for quite a few time. their work was a huge inspiration for us. :S

mc68..... have you tried topstage...? they do a variety of different buildups for the levin bonnett with wieghts ranging from 3kg to like 6 kg?? he is also in perth i think? there is not much weight difference in the guards though from what i have seen Sad once you gut the guards they are really flimsy and light Smile

yeah its pretty bad.

wasnt a huge issue when the dollar was so strong, but unless you have enough stuff to fil a shippnig container, its an expensive exercise Sad

rear bumper finished, rear fenders are in progress
all of the suspension parts which goes back in the car are now sandblasted and powdercoated.

its that time again...

have some new photos of the finished rear bumpers (first and second piece)
and the big news is had our first experimental test with softening material to be able to make flexible body panels. other manufacturers call these "bump resisting bumpers" etc, though this term is not quite right.
the results are promising. Hurray!
flexibility significantly better compared to legacy fiberglass panels and it can be increased much more.
