YES, another Digital Cluster topic

Hello,

I have the digital cluster almost working in my AE86 Corolla GTS. However, as all the people know, the fuel indicator is not working.

So, I try to use some electronic circuits with my analog fuel sender unit.

I tried with a variable voltaje and frequency. So, if somebody have the digital fuel sender unit or have an idea about what is the correct value to use or what are the output from the sender?

I will appreciate any help about it.

Fraid i can't help on the fuel sender, although will be very interested if you can work out some blackbox to adapt the analogue one. Can you share the wiring info with us at some point. A few people have done this but almost noone will actually show the rest of the world what you need to do to fit one.

I've had my cluster sat on the bench for a couple of years now, waiting for someone to publish how to fit it. I have the basic wiring info, but not all of it.

So,the Digital fuel sender unit works with variable DC voltage.

Also, looks like the cressida and MA61 fuel sender unit work for the AE86 digital cluster. I go to check if I found some information related.

I found the following values, for the cressida Digital fuel level unit:

Cresssida Fuel Tank sending unit output voltages:

Fuel level Voltage
Full 4.6-4.9
1/2 Tank 2.6
Empty 0.1-0.4
