Fluen,
using high duration cams in a stock engine is useless stressing for not much power. In my opinion I would look at camshafts with a max lift of 280 (rather lower) with the same amount of lift. That should keep max power below the 7200 range and thus granting longer life for the engine. Do all the modifications possible and don't forget that a higher compression and good head work are essential for getting real power from an engine. Not just cams and fancy brand items.
