8500E is ridiculous. Spending those amounts of money is strictly for those with to much money and not enough knowledge.

What Ivan says, about pushing 600hp, is a bit over the top. But for that money I could build a 400bhp daily driver anyday. And don't come running with the "no experience with tuning" stories. I consider taking your money to a tuning shop and letting them make your decisions as no experience. And gullible as well. Just opening up a set of brochures on the internet isn't going to learn you anything and shure as hell won't help you make an informed choice.

Anyway...400bhp. Give me the money and I'll build it for you. Would probably have an extra set of high boost, high octane maps too. Mind you..I'm not claiming any reliability when you decide to actually use it.

There is only so far you can go with the duration of the cams before the stanadard ecu can cope. I was lead to belive that running 256/264 with a high lift was as far as you can go without needing aftermarket ECU ?

For about 3500US (probably less, MAYBE a little more) I could build a 600BHP AE86.

How do you know that wil cost about 8500 euro??

the price (excl. BTW) stood on the site a while ago. It was around 7000 euro's, so with btw it's around 8500.

But it has been removed, to not to scare anybody i think Smile

Hmmz 272 cams as long as the lift is lower than 8.1 you can use them with the standard ECU.

For 320 do me one pair also :-)

the prob is you will have less power in low rpm's meaning your block will rev upto 7400 before it reaches its peak rpm

Well if you want around 150-160 you want the same as me

check my 4age topic

81.5 bore
272 cams
flowed head
4-1 header
60mm downpipe

doing this will reach around 150-160 easier and recommended is

RX7 fuelpump (or just a one with more capicty)
Bigger injectors (295cc)

trust me then place a nice open air filter and it will be faster

(lightend flywheel would be great addition)
