can i just slam a oem turbo on it ?

Yo guys,

currently i'm running a 4age stock (still its been tinkered with cuz it's to rev happy)

now i'm seeing this oem turbo and bigport exhaust kit for sale. can i just slap it on or do my internals need word ? i don't see any intake parts for it though, that will be a problem

If you mean mine,no dont do it,engine wont handle it.
In general i think only a very low turbo like <6psi would be doable i think.
On a general note dont do it

If you want a turbo engine then use a 4agze internals

You're DCR would go through the roof - OEM is around 8.5:1 you'd need at least some low compression pistons and better rods (min. small port).

it isn't too hard... the pistons are kinda fragile for detonation... but there have been MANY turbos installed with little else done... 5-8#s is about all your going to get. you will need more fuel, and some "tuning aides"
